Dr. Chett Monague, DC., BSc., BEd.,

Chiropractor

Dr. Chett Monague is a graduate of Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) and is a Chiropractor dedicated to providing accessible, patient-centered care that supports the whole person—body, mind, and spirit. With a strong foundation in traditional Indigenous knowledge and a deep commitment to culturally informed health practices, Dr. Monague works to bridge Western healthcare approaches with Indigenous ways of healing.

As an Anishinaabe 2-Spirit chiropractor, Dr. Monague brings a unique perspective to care, ensuring that treatment goes beyond physical health to also honor cultural, social, and emotional well-being. He is passionate about empowering patients through proactive healthcare, injury prevention, and sustainable lifestyle practices that foster long-term wellness.

Alongside his clinical work, Dr. Monague has been a driving force in strengthening Indigenous representation in chiropractic. He is an active member of the Indigenous Chiropractic Caucus and he founded the Indigenous Student Association at CMCC, initiatives that connect future Indigenous chiropractors with practicing professionals to promote mentorship, advocacy, and community health leadership. He also collaborates with Indigenous communities in rural, remote, and urban settings to improve access to care and advance culturally safe healthcare delivery.

Dr. Monague’s practice philosophy is rooted in accessibility, education, and compassion. Whether supporting the public, athletes, professionals, or Elders, his goal is to create care plans that meet each patient where they are, while encouraging resilience, strength, and balance in their health journey.

Areas of Focus:

  • Evidence-based chiropractic care for pain relief, rehabilitation, and performance
  • Patient education on movement, posture, and preventative care
  • Holistic, culturally safe healthcare for Indigenous and non-Indigenous patients alike
  • Advocacy for inclusive, community-based health services

Outside of practice, Dr. Monague is a triathlete-in-training, community organizer, and advocate for healthier communities.
